Mission

Our mission is simple: build a grassroots campaign and leverage it to reform the financial system including breaking up all of the banks that are “too big to fail.”

Our mission can be achieved: Every American, regardless of political persuasion on other issues, is the potential victim of bankings’ power. Conservatives and libertarians distrust concentrated and unaccountable political power. Liberals and progressives distrust concentrated and unaccountable economic power. The big banks have both.

Our mission must be achieved: The big banks are so powerful that even the most progressive Congress in decades is unable to stand up to their demands. Only an overwhelming grassroots campaign, that recognizes that regulation cannot work, and demands action, and will not compromise has a chance of restoring economic security and political democracy.
